  • Tsogo Sun - advised Tsogo Sun on the proposed management buy-out of Gold Reef Resorts, opposing such buy-out and the subsequent acquisition of Gold Reef Resorts by Tsogo
  • BHP Billiton - represented BHP Billiton in the re-negotiation of the electricity supply arrangements regarding the Mozal electricity supply arrangements.
  • General - acted for claimants and defendants in confidential arbitrations involving claims in excess of R150 million per matter, generally arising from failed Merger & Acquisitions or similar corporate activities

  • AngloGold – sale of Tau Lekoa Gold Mine (a division of AngloGold Ashanti) to Buffelsfontein Gold Mining Company
  • AngloGold – restructuring of pioneering BEE Employment share option plan
  • Chromtech Holdings - drafting a suite of agreements with Western Platinum Mines providing for the construction, commissioning and operation by Chromtech of a chrome recovery facility
